"And to love again,"
She said as her heart strained against the reigns,
Tugging as if it had been set a fire
"Would set the untamed free,"
She said as the reigns ripped from her hands
and a tear fell from her eye.
"And it would burst forth,"
She whispered, as it tore away,
and headed for the sky.
"So violently as to jolt the steadiness it left behind"
She cried heavily as it flew amongst the clouds
So unaware of what it had done.
"Never realizing how the steady ground broke"
She sighed as she put a hand to her head
And looked down on the cracks forming in the ground.
